A fourth Manitoban has died from swine flu, the provincial government announced Friday.
The person, who is only referred to as "an adult over 18 years of age," had previously tested positive for the H1N1 influenza A virus, according to a news release.
It is the second death in as many days. On Thursday, the government reported "a child under 18 years old" had become the province's third fatality linked to the virus.
No other information was provided for either victim, such as gender or region of the province where they resided.
Both cases are still under investigation.
