    Among the 1872 Connecticut residents who have tested positive for novel H1N1:
    50.4% are female, 47.6% are male and 2.0 % is sex unknown

    Ages range from less than 1 to 93 years (median age 14 years)

    131 patients have been hospitalized for H1N1 related illnesses and 9 people have died
    Patients for whom home address is known are from the following counties: Fairfield (633), Hartford (341), Litchfield (29), Middlesex (25), New Haven (673), New London (38), Tolland (48), Windham (21);

    Connecticut is reporting one additional H1N1 death for a total of 10.

    Among the 2010 Connecticut residents who have tested positive for novel H1N1:

    50.82 % are female, 47.29 % are male and 1.89 % is sex unknown;

    Ages range from less than 1 to 93 years (median age 14 years);

    142 patients have been hospitalized for H1N1 related illnesses.

    As of September 23, 2009, there have been 10 Novel H1N1-associated deaths involving residents of three Connecticut counties: Hartford County 2, New Haven County 7, and New London County 1.
