7th Swine Flu Death Confirmed In Mississippi

JACKSON, Miss. -- The Mississippi Department of Health has reported two new swine flu-related deaths on Monday, bringing the state's total to seven.
Swine flu deaths have been reported in Hancock (2), Jackson, Jones (2), Tippah and Washington counties, health officials said.
The number of confirmed cases of non-fatal swine flu in Mississippi has risen to 898, MSDH said.

Symptoms of swine flu in humans are similar to those of seasonal flu, with fever, respiratory symptoms and body aches. According to the Health Department, many of the swine flu deaths nationwide were among people with pre-existing health conditions.
