Former Sandwich student dies of H1N1

A student who attended Sandwich High School last year has died after contracting the H1N1 virus, the school district reports.
The student, whose name was not released, attended the school last year but was not in attendance at all this year, the district said. The DeKalb County Health Department recently confirmed the death to be related to the H1N1 virus, also known as "swine flu."
The district will be providing grief counseling for students in need of it.
