County details H1N1 impacts

Eight people have died and 111 have been hospitalized because of the H1N1 flu virus, Stanislaus County health officials reported Tuesday.

The virus appeared to peak last week with 19 cases in the county.

Officials recommend getting vaccinations and taking care to wash your hands frequently to keep from being infected. For more information, go to www.stanemergency.com.
