    Andrea Dawn Lasselle Canet

Andrea Dawn Lasselle Canet 1981-2009 Heaven welcomed another angel to sing praises to our Lord. Our beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend, was called home on Tuesday October 27, 2009 due to pneumonia, believed to be caused by the Swine Flu. Andrea Dawn Lasselle Canet was born on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 1981 in Nampa, Idaho to Rich and Ronda Lasselle. Instead of having a turkey dinner, we got a little turkey instead! She was our beautiful dough baby. You could pose her in any position, and she would just stay that way, looking so cute! As a young girl she would go to Jazzersize class with her mom. She would memorize all of the dance moves, and then when we would stop at a certain caf? after going to a motorcycle race, when one of the songs would come on the jukebox, she would entertain everyone by performing all of the dance moves. They all loved her. Andrea loved going up to Donnelly and spending time with her grandparents there. The cabin was one of her favorite places to be. Andrea was a very intelligent girl, usually always getting straight A's, without even trying. She frequently got in trouble in school for disrupting other students when she got her work done, and got bored. Softball was her favorite sport, and she participated in the Girls Fast Pitch Softball league for several years. Andrea never met a stranger. She was a social butterfly, very outgoing, and made friends easily. She cared deeply for others, and was always there if anyone needed her. She met and later married Joseph Canet, an Air Force man, on October 13, 2000. To this union, two children were born. Austin was born in 2001, and Mason was born in 2004. Andrea was a stay at home mom after the boys were born, and she was a very loving mom to her two boys. Andrea and Joe were transferred from Mountain Home AFB to Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota. Sadly the couple divorced in 2009. Andrea moved back to Idaho two months ago. Andrea was very artistically inclined. She loved to draw, do scrapbooking, and craft projects with her boys. She was very fashion minded and loved doing other peoples hair and nails. As a young teenager, Andrea accepted Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior and was baptized, so even though Andrea was taken from us so suddenly, and way too soon, we have comfort in knowing that she is safely in the arms of Jesus and feels no more pain or sorrow. Andrea was a very warm, caring, and loving woman, and will be greatly missed by many! Andrea leaves behind her dad Rich (Deb) Lasselle of Washington, mom Ronda (Gary) Yandle of Middleton, brother Josh of Middleton, step siblings Tasha, Justin, Emily, Phillip, Holly, and Joey all of Washington, her two sons Austin and Mason of South Dakota, grandpa Don Carlberg of Caldwell, grandma Lorena Lasselle of Arizona, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandma Patty Carlberg and her grandpa Richard Lasselle. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday November 3, 2009 at the Church of Christ South 10th Ave & Ustick Rd. Caldwell, Idaho. If you wish to see Andrea one last time, there will be a public viewing at Dakan Funeral Chapel 504 S Kimball Ave. Caldwell, Office: 459-3629, between 3-5 p.m. on Tuesday November 3, 2009.
