    Bonnie A. Raivio (Brown)

Raivio, Bonnie A. (Brown) 78 2/4/1931 11/28/2009 Bonnie A. Raivio passed away peacefully in her sleep at home, after contracting the flu. Bonnie was born in Grand Island, Neb., and moved to Weiser, Idaho, as a young girl. She attended and graduated from the University of Idaho where she met and married the love of her life and very best friend, Richard "Dick" Raivio. Bonnie and Dick married Aug. 24, 1952. They raised three children, Scotti Raivio Booth, Rick Raivio and Kristi Raivio Cunningham. Bonnie is also survived by her grandchildren, Jamie Gowins, Alexandra Cunningham, Derek Raivio, Nik Raivio, Matt Raivio and Emma Raivio; daughter-in-law, Christine Raivio; and sons-in-law, Jerry Cunningham and David Booth. Bonnie loved life and lived it to the fullest. Her family, friends and dogs were the most important part of Bonnie's life and she was always there for them. She was beautiful both inside and out. Bonnie will be greatly missed, but we know she will always be with us in spirit. If you knew Bonnie, you were blessed. She was the best wife and mom there ever was. A private memorial will be held at a later date. If you would like to contribute in Bonnie's name, she loved animals and giving to an animal shelter of your choice would be what she would want.
