Neb. officials report 1 more flu-related death

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - Health officials say another Nebraskan sickened by the swine flu has died.
A Douglas County woman who was more than 50 years old died Wednesday. A news release issued Friday by the Douglas County Health Department confirming the death says the woman had been hospitalized since late October. She had tested positive for the flu strain also known as H1N1 after she was admitted. She had health conditions including asthma and diabetes.
Health officials say privacy laws prevent them from releasing other details about the woman.
Twelve others in the state sickened by the virus have died.
Health officials continue to emphasize basic good health practices urging people to wash their hands, cover their coughs and stay home when sick.
