Ministry of Health announced the start of the process of vaccinating pregnant women with the beginning of the month of January against the swine flu virus that priority be given to pregnant women in more than 3 months, to begin the vaccination process in each of the governorates of Cairo, Giza and 6th of October and Helwan and Alexandria governorates as the most vulnerable to HIV (the virus ) infection, as classified by the ministry.
The Ministry of Health to allocate part of the quantities of vaccine for swine flu virus to vaccinate pregnant women as of the most serious complications of HIV exposure.
Places and receive vaccinations and the Ministry of Health indicated that they would define it in the last provincial directorates of health through the beginning of next month, the ministry appealed to the citizens of the need to go to the nearest hospital in case of viruses the onset of symptoms especially for pregnant women and chronically ill patients.
For his part, Minister of Health Dr. Hatem mountain that 14% of pregnant women infected with swine flu infection die from complications of (the virus infection)HIV infection, especially in the respiratory tract, in addition to the double pneumonia that leads to death.
He also advised the mountain to postpone pregnancy until next April due to the exposure of pregnant risk of death by a large margin, and stressed that there is no clear scientific reason so far for the death of infected pregnant It is worth mentioning that the number of pregnant women in Egypt is currently home to one million and 800 thousand pregnant almost.
