Conscripts died due to poor medical care

The watchdog organisation Soldiers? Mothers says two conscripts from Murmansk region with pneumonia died due to lack of medical care.
The two solders served their military service in Leningrad Oblast. One died in December and the other now in January.
Ella Polyakova, the chairwoman of the Soldiers' Mothers NGO, said Russian conscripts often die because they do not receive proper medical care, reports Radio Free Europe.
Members of Soldiers' Mothers said that on recent visits to several military units, they observed many soldiers with respiratory illnesses who were not receiving any medical care. They said some soldiers received onions in lieu of medicine.
