Nine new cases of the H1N1 swine flu were reported in Connecticut in the last week, according to statistics posted on the Department of Public Health website. There were no additional deaths. Of the new confirmed cases, one was in Fairfield County, twi in Hartford County and the remaining six confirmed cases were from patients in New Haven County.
In all, the total number of cases confirmed in the state in the second wave of the pandemic stands at 3,513.
