During the six months against FMD vaccinated nearly 67,000 head of cattle (106 percent of plan), against anthrax 72,000 (140 percent) against plague processed 70.7 thousand pigs (118 percent). The animals also were examined for brucellosis, tuberculosis and leukemia. Tested for brucellosis 45,6 thousand head of cattle, to leukemia - 47,8 thousand. On tuberculosis examined more than 52 thousand cows and calves.
In addition, employees of the Veterinary Service within six months vaccinate poultry against avian flu. Free vaccinations against bird flu received more than 83,5 thousands of poultry.
