أعلنت الدكتور عزة رمضان مدير مديرية الطب البيطرى بالقاهرة عن مصادرة 1179 كجم من اللحوم البلدية صالحة للاستهلاك مذبوحة خارج المجازر المعتمدة، وإعدام 157 كجم من اللحوم البلدية غير الصالحة للاستهلاك، كما تم مصادرة 1796 كجم من الدواجن المذبوحة و169 زوج حمام من مذبوحات خارج المجازر صالحة، وإعدام 353 كجم من الدواجن المذبوحة و30 زوج حمام بحالة غير صالحة، كما تم إعدام 179 كجم من الأسماك غير الصالحة للإستهلاك الآدمي، وإعدام 947 كجم من الأكباد واللحوم المجمدة ومصنعات اللحوم بحالة غير صالحة للاستهلاك الآدمى. Said Dr. Izzat Ramadan, Director of Veterinary Medicine in Cairo in the confiscation of 1179 kilograms of meat municipal suitable for consumption slaughtered outside the massacres adopted, and the execution of 157 kilograms of meat municipal unfit for consumption, were also confiscated 1796 kilograms of poultry slaughtered and 169 pigeons from Mzbouhat outside the massacres valid, and the execution of 353 kilograms of poultry slaughtered and 30 pigeons and the situation is not valid, as the execution of 179 kilograms of fish unfit for human consumption, and the execution of 947 kilograms of livers and frozen meat and meat status artifacts unfit for human consumption.
كما أعلنت مديرة الطب البيطرى عن إبادة 1793 كلبا ضالا، و504 قطط ضالة، كما نظمت المديرية عدد 49 ندوة إرشادية فى عدد من المدارس والجمعيات الأهلية ومراكز الشباب والمعسكرات والمستشفيات للتوعية بمرض أنفلونزا الطيور، والأمراض التى تنتقل عن طريق تربية الحيوانات الأليفة، وفوائد زراعة أسطح المنازل كبديل لتربية الطيور.
