YOGYAKARTA - Wabah flu burung tak hanya melanda Jakarta dan sekitarnya. Di Yogyakarta, kemarin dua orang diduga terkena flu burung. Keduanya, F (6) dan I (25) kini dirawat intensif di RSUP Dr Sardjito. Namun untuk memastikan adanya virus flu burung dalam tubuh mereka, pihak rumah sakit masih menunggu hasil penelitian laboratorium Departemen Kesehatan.

Ketua Tim Penanggulangan Flu Burung RS Sardjito, dr Sumardi SpPD menjelaskan, pasien pertama yang masuk adalah F asal Bantul. Dia dirujuk ke R Sardjito, Selasa (16/1) lalu setelah mengalami panas tinggi dan sesak nafas. Pasien kedua, I, masuk ke ruang isolasi rumah sakit tersebut Rabu (17/1) siang kemarin.

''Dari data yang kami terima, keduanya mengalami panas tinggi dan sesak nafas yang merupakan ciri-ciri penderita flu burung,'' ujar Sumardi.

Dia menambahkan, selain ciri-ciri tersebut, berdasarkan hasil ronsen dari rumah sakit di Bantul, ada kelainan di paru-paru pasien F. Namun dia belum bisa memastikan kelainan itu. Pihaknya melakukan ronsen ulang untuk memperjelas ada apa di paru-paru F.

Mengenai dari mana keduanya kemungkinan terkena virus, dia mengatakan, berdasarkan keterangan keluarga pasien, ada ayam mati tanpa sebab di sana. Tapi dia tidak bersedia menjelaskan kapan dan di mana ayam-ayam yang mati mendadak itu.

Ditemui terpisah, Kasi Kesehatan Hewan Subid Peternakan Dinas Pertanian DIY, drh Vita Murni mengungkapkan, untuk mengantisipasi wabah flu burung, pihaknya menyediakan 1,5 juta vaksin. Peningkatan jumlah persediaan vaksin dibanding tahun lalu yang hanya 1 juta, karena banyak permintaan dari masyarakat.
