Training mothers with information about respiratory infections

A total of 19,168 mothers have been trained, by the Ministry of Health, in detection of warning signs for Acute Respiratory Infections (ARIs) in children under five years.
In a statement to the state agency, noted that until 31 October, of 3000 suspected there had been 261 cases of influenza H3, B, pneumonia and bronchopneumonia.
By weather conditions that continue to present, the Secretariat recommends that people remain vigilant and any symptoms to go to medical units of the State in which the vaccination season is still underway until March.
Among the main recommendations that the agency sends to the population to prevent disease is present in their children, are: not exposed to sudden changes in temperature, drink plenty of fluids and wear warm clothing, but avoid sweating.
