NW GUILFORD COUNTY ? It often starts with a runny nose, sore throat or a cough, followed by fever and chills. Within hours, the muscle aches set in and you feel like you?ve been hit by a Mack truck. There can also be vomiting or diarrhea, but those symptoms are more common in children than adults.
