Memorial service for American tsunami victim in US

A memorial service has been held in Virginia for an American woman who died in the March 11th earthquake and tsunami in Japan.......

......Anderson's colleague said Taylor had been loved by the residents of Ishinomaki, and she hopes that the people there will overcome their hardships.
The Andersons plan to launch a fund to help rebuilding efforts in disaster-affected areas in accordance with the wishes of Taylor, who loved Japanese children.

Priest, teacher gave all to Japan / Earthquake disaster claimed non-Japanese well loved by their communities

On the morning of March 11, "Andre sensei" received a card of thanks bearing lines and squiggles from his English students at the Shiogama Catholic Kindergarten in Miyagi Prefecture who were due to graduate the following day. He never got to see them graduate.....

.....Meanwhile, decorated with folded paper cranes and featuring the names of her students, the message ended like any other from a teacher to her graduating pupils: "I will never forget you! Good Luck! Gambatte kudasai!"...
