    So far, 112,619 people at high risk of disease in vaccinated free influenza vaccination campaign was organized.
    Were immunized, mainly those with chronic diseases, especially respiratory and cardiovascular diseases, metabolic diseases, children and old people in institutions, medical personnel, as recommended by WHO and ECDC.

    Ministry of Health carried out this year free influenza vaccination campaign.

    At week 14 to 20 November 2011, 98 145 persons were presented to the doctor with acute respiratory infections, the number is 8.2% higher than that registered in the previous week, according to the report submitted by the National Supervisory Ministry of Health Communicable Disease.
    Over 17,000 of these were recorded with pneumonia and 80 760 with respiratory viruses.
    The number of flu cases clinically compatible national recorded was lower than that recorded in the previous week (59 to 70).
    All samples tested in the laboratory were negative for influenza viruses.
    Ministry of Health carried out this year free influenza vaccination campaign. As part of this campaign were vaccinated 167,945 people shot at high risk of disease.
    Ministry of Health recommends that people in this period with frequent temperature fluctuations, to hear advice and follow hygiene to avoid illness.
    Personal hygiene measures, such as washing hands with soap and water, using handkerchiefs for sneezing or coughing are essential to prevent disease through respiratory, and especially the flu.
    Respect for a healthy lifestyle - diet rich in protein, vegetables and fruits, rest and exercise (walking, cycling, skating, sports stuff) is essential for maintaining a healthy body.
    Also, the elderly, especially those with chronic cardiac and respiratory movements is best to avoid crowded places and attendance that creates the conditions of disease or of complications of existing disease.

      Over 17,213 of these were recorded with pneumonia and 81 013 with respiratory viruses.

      The number of cases clinically compatible with influenza recorded at national level was lower than that recorded in the previous week (47 to 59).

      All samples tested in the laboratory were negative for influenza viruses.

        At week 12 to 18 December 2011, 87,529 people have a doctor with acute respiratory infections, their number being 2.3% lower than that registered in the previous week, according to the report submitted by the National Supervisory Ministry of Health Communicable Disease.

          In the last week of 2011, 53,606 people have a doctor with acute respiratory infections, the number is 1.2% higher than that registered in the previous week, according to the report submitted by the National Communicable Disease Surveillance Ministry of Health.



          Of the 53,606 people, over 11,429 were registered with pneumonia and 42 141 with respiratory viruses. The number of cases clinically compatible with influenza was recorded at national level comparable to that recorded in the previous week (36 to 35).



          Until 03.01.2012, the Romanian territory were confirmed by laboratory, a total of 7 cases of seasonal flu (AH3N2).



          Ministry of Health carried out this year free influenza vaccination campaign, in which 479,589 people were vaccinated shot at high risk of disease.



          To avoid disease, the Ministry of Health recommends that people at this time, to listen to medical advice not to neglect personal hygiene and to follow a healthy lifestyle.

                At week 16 to 22 January 2012, over 67,000 people have a doctor with acute respiratory infections, their number being in a slight increase, 0.8% higher than that registered in the previous week, according to the report submitted by the National Communicable Disease Surveillance at the Ministry of Health.
                Over 14,325 of these were recorded with pneumonia and 52 929 with respiratory viruses.
                The number of cases clinically compatible with influenza recorded nationally was higher than that recorded in the previous week (52 versus 47).
                So far, 15 cases were confirmed ill with influenza type A, subtype H3. In the week since January 16 to 22 were confirmed 4 cases of influenza AH3N2.

                As public health professionals in Romania recorded sporadic cases of influenza with no outbreaks and respiratory virosis is normal.

                      In week 5 to 11 March 2012, 101,104 persons were presented to the doctor with acute respiratory infections, their number increasing by about 3.8% from a year earlier in the week before, according to the report submitted by the National Surveillance Diseases of the Ministry of Health.

                      However a number of 20,538 of these were registered with pneumonia, down 2.9% compared to the previous week.

                      The number of cases compatible with influenza recorded nationally was lower

                      compared with that recorded in the previous week (112 to 123) and 1.9 times lower than that recorded in the same week last year (214).

                      In weeks 5 to 11 March were 21 laboratory confirmed cases of influenza AH3.

                      The number of confirmed flu cases after the onset period (S40 / 2011) and to date is 216 cases of influenza AH3N2 influenza and 3 cases of influenza B.

                      Based on epidemiological data are deemed evolving moderate influenza activity, with regional accents (the eastern, southern and central area of ​​the country) and local outbreaks in the rest of sporadic cases.
