KABUL (Kyodo) -- Japanese Foreign Minister Koichiro Gemba pledged Wednesday to provide continued support for Afghanistan's development during talks with President Hamid Karzai, at a time when the security situation in many parts of the country remains precarious and the global community is trying to come up with a workable framework for its stability.
