Anthrax found near Melfort

A veterinarian with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency says a cow herd in Saskatchewan is being vaccinated for anthrax following confirmation that an animal in the province died from the disease.
Alex McIsaac says the case was confirmed last month at a farm northwest of Melfort.
It is the first confirmed case in Saskatchewan this year.
