HYANNIS ? The death early last week of Barnstable High School student Anthony Beverly, 15, marks the second time a youth died in Massachusetts this winter after getting the flu.
Cases of seasonal flu-related deaths in people under the age of 18 are rare, with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reporting 81 pediatric deaths across the country as of Feb. 23.
