Syfy has given a straight-to-series order for Helix, a thriller from Battlestar Galactica's creator Ron Moore. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the network picked up the series for 13 episodes on Thursday.

11 episodes in - started a little slow & combined with the 10pm air time meant I kept falling asleep. Got caught up during a SyFy marathon a couple of weeks ago. I'm enjoying it immensely! Don't expect groundbreakingly accurate science, but it is fun. Elements of Lost, Twin Peaks, Zombie movies. Nice use of camera angles & music. The timing is designed to keep you off balance. Don't over analyse and it's a great ride. Campy Brilliance!
