18 days after being hospitalized and undergoing treatment, Nelson Valenzuela (60) became the latest victim of the disease.
Leptospirosis claimed its fifth victim in the city of Iquitos, Department of Loreto . Valenzuela is Nelson (60), who after 18 days of close observation and treatment at the regional hospital , died.
