    In the Rostov region recorded 38 cases of Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever. In two cases, people died.

    According to Rospotrebnadzor in the Rostov region, the victims were residents of ticks and Peschanokopsky Kagalnitskaya areas. In all cases of infection were recorded in 17 localities in the region.

    It is worth noting that the ticks are carriers not only Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever, but other dangerous diseases. So, in four cases, they infected Donetsk borreliosis, three - leptospirosis, and recorded four cases of West Nile fever. All in all health facilities about the bite of ticks applied from the beginning of the year 6344 people, which is 26 percent higher than last year's figures.

    Rostov epidemiologists remind: ticks can be deadly to humans. The symptoms of possible diseases that should alert after a meeting with the parasite are fever, fatigue, feelings of tension in the muscles, especially in the calf, and headache.
