    TRIBUNNEWS.COM, BANDUNG - Ruang Flamboyan Rumah Sakit Hasan Sadikin (RSHS) Bandung kembali merawat pasien yang diduga (suspect) terjangkit virus flu burung.

    Menurut Tim Penanganan Infeksi Khusus RSHS dr Emi Prianggono, pasien laki-laki tersebut berinisial RH (18). Pasien berasal dari Purwakarta dan sehari-hari bekerja di peternakan unggas.

    Saat datang, pasien mengalami gejala-gejala seperti panas, sesak napas, dan gangguan pada paru-paru. Dengan gejala tersebut ditambah latar belakang pasien yang bekerja di peternakan, maka pasien di rawat di ruang isolasi.
    "Belum dinyatakan flu burung, masih dalam observasi. Kami akan lihat hasil sampelnya dulu," katanya saat dihubungi melalui sambungan telepon, Senin (11/11/2013).

    Menurutnya, sampel apus hidung dan tenggorokan pasien sudah dikirim ke Balirbangkes Jakarta untuk diperiksa. Sampel pertama sudah dikirimkan Minggu (10/11) dan sampel kedua dikirim Selasa (11/11).

    Sampel ketiga akan dikirim pada Rabu (12/11). Hasil test inilah yang nantinya bisa memastikan apakah pasien terserang flu burung atau karena penyakit lain.
