The office of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Mbandaka ( Equateur ) fear viral haemorrhagic fever after a death, three days ago of a patient with symptoms of the disease.

According to Dr. Jacob Mosale Kondo, WHO doctor , the patient , who arrived in the provincial capital from the territory of Ingende , died and was buried without taking any sample.

"We are still talking about viral haemorrhagic fever, of which there are several kinds. We do not know yet if it is Ebola , " he insisted .

According to the WHO , two other suspected cases of the disease , whose carriers are also deceased , were recorded in the same territory of Ingende , 180 Km south of Mbandaka.

"Safety and security don't just happen, they are the result of collective consensus and public investment. We owe our children, the most vulnerable citizens in our society, a life free of violence and fear."
    -Nelson Mandela
