Time: 2013-11-29 11:07:26 Friday Source: Editor: Wang Limei

H7N9 bird flu, it seems lingered in Zhejiang. About to enter the winter season, H7N9 avian influenza virus in the second half of this backstroke, will do more tricks? Yesterday, the reporter interviewed experts in disease prevention and control, Zhejiang Province, the experts assure reporters that the virus is not afraid of the cold, still exists, but the public as long as the protection in place, do not worry too much.

              Patients from Angelina

              Family raised chickens 6

Yesterday, reporters learned that Zhang is currently living in Zhejiang patient to a hospital isolation ward of the Infectious Diseases. Admitted to the ward in the first half of this year over most of the H7N9 bird flu patients.
Joseph Leung, deputy director of the Infectious Diseases Hospital told reporters that the patient in critical condition, the lungs appeared fossilization, very optimistic.

It is reported that Zhang pneumonia due to high fever, the 26th in the afternoon from his home to the Zhejiang Anji an emergency room visits during sudden exacerbations, respiratory failure. Hospital emergency room immediately sent to rescue him, while sampling tests. The results show that Zhang H7N9 virus were positive, confirmed infected with the H7N9 avian influenza.

Asked history, family doctor, family raised six chickens, chickens before the disease usually is Zhang, cleaning chicken. Doctors have speculated that Zhang H7N9 avian influenza infection, probably related with these birds carry the virus.

Second half of the four cases of H7N9 bird flu

Unfortunately, the patient died in Jiaxing

Since the second half of this year, Zhejiang H7N9 bird flu to the four cases. Jiaxing one case in which the patients have been died. Patient surnamed Ren, female, 64 years old, farmer, the incidence on October 30, November 4 confirmed.

Why are critically ill patients in the second half? Stronger ability to replicate the virus? Or mutated? Yesterday, the reporter interviewed the Provincial Disease Control and Prevention deputy director CHEN En-fu. He said: "From the current monitoring situation, H7N9 virus does not mutate the patient's condition so heavy, in addition to virulent virus itself, but also with the age of the majority of patients with chronic diseases is too large and the original and so on.."

              Not cold virus

Avoid contact with poultry wash their hands

The weather forecast said that, starting today, will be substantial cooling in Zhejiang province, respiratory diseases will also enter the popular high season.

CHEN En-fu said: Many people are concerned about how long the virus can survive in a cold environment, we do sometimes experimental virus samples stored at minus 40 degrees Celsius environment, viruses are likely to survive a few years.

Due to the current body of the virus in poultry and external environment still exists, so people are still likely to be infected, H7N9 avian influenza may be sporadic, please take appropriate precautions.

Experts suggest that the city's farmers market to do cleaning and disinfection, timely cleaning poultry feces, 7 to 10 days, conduct a thorough disinfection of stalls, to minimize the virus. People buy chickens and ducks, but also try not to direct contact with live birds, live poultry stalls do not stay in too long.

Several cases of H7N9 bird flu in the second half of the patients, the majority living in rural areas, rural residents chicken duck family habits, inevitably touch. We recommend: minimize human exposure to many birds, feeding locations farther away from the people, chickens to feed ducks and wash their hands after contact with poultry, poultry droppings not cleaned of dust, it is best to wear gloves and masks, in the event of fever cold, to early treatment.
