I don't think plastic birds can get flu. ;-)

I think it's the polyvinylmorphism mutation. It has neutropic symptoms - they all bend their necks in the same shape.

Wouldn't it be ironic if those somehow tested positive.

Notice the discoloring in some of the birds. Perhaps a new symptom?!!

                  Re: Birdflu Strikes South Florida

This has been happening for weeks. The tests have been coming back negative for H5N1 because the testing samples were not collected properly.

The symptoms have been "presenting like" chikungunya, that is why all of them are "bent" in the same way.

Several "no-go" zones have been established and all plastic flamingos have been culled (approximately 100,000).

All other plastic flamingos in Florida (approximately 10,000,000) are receiving an experimental vax from China. It does not seem to be working as new outbreaks are occurring.

Several plastic flamingo owners are quarantined for observation after showing symptoms such as standing only on 1 leg and eating only small bugs.

A cluster is suspected in Miami. Results from lab tests should be in from the Hong Kong lab later today.

Mellie - I far as I am concerned this should have been posted in Breaking.

This is Roman in North Carolina. I just spotted two plastic fawns and an elf like creature with a lantern sprawled out in my neighbors yard. I called the police and they laughed at me. I called the WHO and they said they were on "tour", right. This is getting weird.

The day may come when we can't laugh at anything, no matter how hard we try. So we need to do it double NOW.

discoloring is due to UVB in sunlight clensing the virus seen as pigmental changes
