A study of the National Institute of Public Health based on blood captures revealed that 65 % of the population already has antibodies against the pandemic vine-stock, in accordance with information provided by Pablo Kuri, undersecretary of Prevention and Promotion of the Health of the Ssa.
The expert clarified that the Tamiflu nothing any more is useful to mitigate the symptoms of the patients and that only the vaccine has preventive effects; since it began the pandemic, in 2009, the persons in charge of the sanitary politics have applied more than 70 million inoculations. Also those who already endured the infection are immunized.
In Mexico, from 2009 until February, 2012, there have registered 252 thousand 388 cases of diverse influenza, of which, 75 thousand 328 have been confirmed by the virus A/H1N1, in accordance with the information provided by the Ssa.
At present there is an upturn of cases of contagions for this vine-stock, since this year they already add 2 thousand 544 ? thousand 88 in only one week?, whereas last year a whole of 345 registered.
