Adolescents are more vulnerable to influenza AH1N1
The National Youth Secretariat noted that it should put more emphasis on information campaigns on preventive influenza AN1H1, in the younger population of the country, in places and areas of high affluence and consumption by youth, adolescents and children. He also argued that they should use language and formats appropriate to them, and that children under 20 years are most affected, according to official figures of the MOH.
Maegan Arriola Escalante, National Secretary for Youth, explained that 60% of cases officially registered in the country are under 19 years, while young people between 20 and 29 years constitute 13% of the total affected, according to the report Officially the first day of July, when the total infected cases was 1.968, a trend that continues now that it exceeds the 2.796 persons found infected with the virus.
