Calgarian dies from swine flu

CALGARY - A Calgary man is the 57th person with H1N1 influenza to die in Alberta.
Alberta Health reported the man's death Monday, saying he had underlying medical conditions.
Health officials will not release further details about victims, including their age or what chronic disease they have, citing privacy laws.
The new flu strain has hospitalized about 1,190 people in Alberta since it first appeared in the spring.
Alberta Health Services said some 900,000 people in the province have been vaccinated against swine flu. Inoculation clinics are now open to all Albertans.
