A respiratory virus that sent hundreds of children to hospital in the U.S. and Canada is now in Saskatchewan.
Late Thursday afternoon, Saskatchewan's chief medical health officer told reporters there have been 11 confirmed cases of Enterovirus D-68 spread throughout the province in September and two in August.(...)
The province has been monitoring the strain for several weeks now since it began showing up in children across the U.S. Enterovirus D-68 can often be the source of a summer cold, however this strain has left some children with serious-respiratory distress.
