April 26 (Bloomberg) -- Colombia has identified 12 cases of
swine flu that may have been caused by the same strain of the
virus blamed for 20 deaths in Mexico, EFE reported, citing the
Columbian minister of social protection, Diego Palacio.
The victims, nine in Bogota and three in Cartagena, aren?t
critically ill, Palacio said, according to EFE. The Colombian
government sent samples to a laboratory in Atlanta for
investigation, the news agency said.
