احتجز مستشفى الفيوم العام حالتين للاشتباه فى إصابتهما بمرض أنفلونزا الخنازير، وتم احتجازهما بالمستشفى، وأخذ العينات اللازمة منهما لإرسالها للمعامل المركزية لتحليلها والتأكد من إصابتهما بالمرض من عدمه. كانا عاشور عبد العزيز محمود (44 سنة) من مطرطارس ونورا مهدى أحمد (25 سنة) من أطسا قد دخلا مستشفى الفيوم العام، وهما يعانيان من ارتفاع شديد فى درجة الحرارة وتظهر عليهما أعراض مرض أنفلونزا الـH1N1 تم احتجازهما بالمستشفى، وأخذ العينات اللازمة منهما لإرسالها للمعامل المركزية والتأكد من إصابتهما بالمرض من عدمه.
