قرر المهندس سامى عمارة، محافظ المنوفية، غلق فصل بمدرسة مودرن سكول الخاصة الابتدائية التابعة لإدارة سرس الليان التعليمية لمدة 15 يوما، وذلك بعد ثبوت إصابة لطالب يدعى يوسف إبراهيم سعيد (10 أعوام) طالب بالصف الرابع الابتدائى بمرض أنفلونزا الخنازير، وتشكيل لجنة من الأطباء والتمريض لمتابعة حالة جميع الطلاب، مع اتخاذ كافة الإجراءات الوقائية لتطهير الفصل. Decided to engineer Sami Amara, Governor of Menoufia, close the chapter Modern School for Primary School of the Department of Education Saras Sears for 15 days, and after testing injury to a student identified as Youssef Ibrahim Saeed (10 years) students in grade IV primary disease of swine flu, and the formation of a committee of doctors and nursing to follow up the status of all students, while taking all the preventive measures to clean up the chapter.
وصرح الدكتور هشام عطا، وكيل وزارة الصحة، بأن غلق الفصل جاء بعد ظهور نتائج العينة المأخوذة منه يوم23 /11/2009 بإصابته بمرض أنفلونزا الخنازير، بعد أن تم احتجازه منذ 3 أيام بمستشفى شبين الكوم التعليمى عقب ظهور أعراض المرض عليه من ضيق بالتنفس وآلام بالمفاصل وارتفاع درجة الحرارة.
