كشف الدكتور حاتم الجبلى وزير الصحة، النقاب عن بدء مفاوضات مكثفة بين وزارة الصحة و 3 شركات أدوية عالمية لاستيراد 5 ملايين جرعة من اللقاح العالمى المقاوم لمرض أنفلونزا الخنازير، متوقعا أن تنتهى تلك المفاوضات التى يديرها الدكتور نصر السيد مدير الطب الوقائى بالوزارة، بنهاية شهر أغسطس الجارى، إلا أن الجرعات المطلوبة لن تصل مصر قبل شهرى إبريل ومايو من العام المقبل، بعد تأكيد منظمة الصحة العالمية بأن اللقاح لن يتوفر قبل يناير 2010.

وأوضح الجبلى فى تصريحات صحفية صباح اليوم، الثلاثاء، أن وزارة الصحة اشترطت على شركات إنتاج اللقاح منحها ضمانات كافية بحصولها على المصل المعدل الذى تنوى الشركات نفسها إنتاجه فى حالة تغيير مواصفات المرض، وقال "لن يجبرنا أحد على شراء دواء سعره 20 دولارا للعبوة لواحدة، ثم يتبين لنا فيما بعد أنه عديم الفعالية فى حالة تحور الفيروس"، موضحا أنه يرى أن عقار "التاميفلو" المتوفر حاليا بأعداد كبيرة فى كل محافظات مصر كاف للوقاية من المرض بطبيعته الحالية التى وصفها بأنها غير شديدة الضراوة.

وأضاف الجبلى أن الشركات الثلاثة التى تتفاوض مصر معها ستنتج 900 مليون جرعة من لقاح أنفلونزا الخنازير، فى حين أن العالم يحتاج إلى 6 مليارات جرعة، وهو ما ستضطر معه مصر إلى تخصيص حصتها من اللقاح لتطعيم المتعاملين مباشرة مع المصابين بالمرض كالأطباء المعالجين والممرضين والعاملين بالمستشفيات والحميات والمخالطين للمرضى والمشتبه فى إصابتهم به.
