GCC health ministers to meet next month
KUWAIT, Jan 13 (KUNA) -- The Executive Office for Health Ministers Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) will convene in Riyadh next month, the Undersecretary Assistant for medical Services Affairs Yousef Al-Nessef said on Sunday.

The meeting will discuss several vital issues regarding the profession of health, fighting diabetes, raising awareness, and other heart diseases, Al-Nessef who is also a member of the Executive Office told KUNA.

The Undersecretary said the gulf doctrine project regarding heart safety precautious measures will also be up for discussion, including a detailed follow-up report regarding previous recommendations of the council's last meeting.

Combating Bird flu, and other health safety issues will also be addressed in the meeting, Al-Nessef noted.

The 64th meeting of the council will be held on February 5th and aims to tackle as well for two days other health issues on the local and international arena, Al-Nessef said. (end) mah.:tiphat:
