The Ashanti Regional Health Directorate has confirmed an outbreak of cholera in parts of the Obuasi Municipality.
Forty-four cases have been officially recorded at health facilities in the municipality since last month.
Speaking to Radio Ghana in Kumasi, the Deputy Ashanti Regional Director in charge of Public Health, Dr. Joseph Oduro, emphasised that no death has been officially recorded.
