H1N1 Death Toll Rises To 65 In Scotland

An adult treated by NHS Lothian Health Board has died after contracting H1N1, bringing the total number of swine flu deaths to 65.
The patient had an underlying health condition.
Health Secretary Nicola Sturgeon said:
"Regrettably we have had confirmation of another death associated with H1N1. My sympathies are with the patient's friends and family at this sad time.
"While figures continue to show a decrease in those reporting symptoms of flu-like illness we continue to urge those within the priority groups to come forward and accept the vaccination if they have not already done so."
