On 23-6 the past, Thai Nguyen Department of Animal Health has officially announced the results positive for influenza A virus (H5N1) for a bird of households in Trung Thanh ward, Thai Nguyen city. Before that, two months old flock of these households are sick and dying phenomenon scattered. Thai Nguyen Department of Animal Health to coordinate with the local authorities have carried out the destruction of the entire flock over 530 children were infected. Besides, right after service and localities have actively implemented disinfect, disinfect the area. At the same time strengthening control the movement of poultry, poultry products into and out of area.

Department of Animal Health would like to report on avian flu, foot and mouth epidemic of cattle and swine blue ear as follows:

I. Situation

1. Avian Influenza

Today, there are no reports of new outbreaks arising from the local.

Currently, Thai Nguyen province is also the avian flu is not over 21 days.

2. Foot and Mouth Disease

Today, there are no reports of new outbreaks arising from the local.

Currently, the province does not have translated LMLM.

3. PRRS swine

Today, there are no reports of new outbreaks arising from the local.

Avian influenza in Thai Nguyen

3. PRRS swine

Tien Giang: On 29/06/2010, blue ear occurred in 01 households in Long An commune, Chau Thanh district to 165 infected pigs (26 sows, 49 piglets and 90 pig meat). From day 29 / 6 to the date 07.12.2010, the service has added in 11 communes of Chau Thanh district. As on 12.7.2010, Chau Thanh district has 12 communes occurred with blue ear pig disease are total 1461 children, in which pigs are killed and destroyed in 458 children. Currently, the Animal Health Agency Region VI, Tien Giang Department of Animal Health together with local authorities are carrying out measures for prevention and prescribed.

Currently, there are 08 provinces of Hung Yen, Lang Son, Nghe An, Quang Ninh, Cao Bang and Soc Trang, Tien Giang and Quang Tri PRRS not over 21 days.

II. PUBLIC prevention
