- The local disease control center (LDCC) traced back to the original native broiler farm, conducting movement restrictions, clinical inspection, epidemiological investigation and sampling.
- The results of RT-PCR test, HA0 cleavage site sequencing and pathogenicity test demonstrated H5N2 HPAI.
- All the chickens on the farm were destroyed by LDCC on 9 March 2012.
- Clinical and epidemiological investigations are continuously implemented on the surrounding poultry farms of the infected farm.
