Risk of TB for people living with a confirmed drug-resistant case lingers longer than suspected
People living with someone diagnosed with drug-resistant tuberculosis (TB) have a high risk of contracting the disease for at least four years after the original patient starts appropriate treatment, say1 health scientists today in the Lancet.
