A mass vaccination campaign against influenza A but a little less paranoia in people, who own discomfort with the flu this year decided to rest at home without consulting a doctor, as major factors in the decline.
In the Santa Rosa Hospital in the two municipal health centers, this year the cases of respiratory symptoms (bronchiolitis, influenza, pneumonia) experienced a decline of nearly half in three months more complicated than the autumn-winter: June, July and August. During this period, in 2009 there were 1039 cases diagnosed by the local hospital or medical clinics. In 2010, the number is still 526 as of last week, almost since the end of August.

Also, while among the three was achieved this year, since March, to go with the H1N1 influenza vaccine to more than 9000 people, and this may have served to fewer cases, "some doctors consulted hereby acknowledged than last year "there was some paranoia by Influenza A" and that "anyone sneezed or had a fever and I went to the hospital."
