FRISKY festive revellers have been warned to practice safe sex this Christmas ? amid warnings that Ireland is in the midst of a gonorrhoea outbreak.

The GUIDe Clinic at St. James?s Hospital, the largest free STI and Infectious Disease service in the country, has issued a warning as they prepare for a surge in STI (sexually transmitted infection) diagnoses over the coming months...

...Stats show that 2,168 people have been found to have contracted the disease so far this year ? up from 1,233 two years ago...
