Infections in our species are infrequent, but not impossible: in China and Russia in recent months two farmers have fallen ill. The cases are treated very severely, both from an epidemiological point of view because they do not cause outbreaks, and from a medical point of view, because the disease can be serious.

Ronco's case is not the first of the year in Italy. East of Ferrara on 14 and 15 October another outbreak was certified by the zooprophylactic of the Venezie, but this time with a low pathogenic virus, less serious. A second outbreak was discovered in Ronco d'Adige

Venice, 27 October 2021 - The regional machine is activated to prevent the outbreak of highly pathogenic avian influenza that broke out in a farm in the Municipality of Ronco d'Adige, province of Verona, from spreading. More than 13,000 turkeys to be killed. The containment measures

The spreading of droppings and the introduction and release of game of sensitive species are prohibited. Bird flu alert, outbreaks rise to 60
