Russia asks Japan to treat Sakhalin boy suffering from heavy burns

VLADIVOSTOK (Kyodo) -- Sakhalin Governor Alexander Khoroshavin asked Japan on Thursday to provide medical treatment to a 12-year-old boy who suffered burns to around 80 percent of his body in an explosion in the south of the island, the Sakhalin government said.
