Eight measles cases reported near Daegu

At least eight cases of measles and 31 cases of RSV (respiratory syncytial virus), a viral infection that afflicts newborns, have been reported in Gyeongsan and the adjacent Daegu region.

An additional case in Seoul brought the number of confirmed measles cases in a recent outbreak in South Korea to 38, according to Korea Centers for Disease Control & Prevention.
