Several indigenous children have problems with respiratory infection

Doctors of the Municipal Department of Health of the Municipal Government of La Paz reported yesterday at least 30 indigenous children who are on the verge of a severe pneumonia, acute respiratory infection.
The doctors spent the day yesterday [28/junho/2012] to the attention of children who remain with their mothers in the sports arena of the Universidad Mayor de San Andr?s (UMSA).
"There is danger of pneumonia in 30 children and another 120 have a cold. Now required medicine to reverse the tables of ARI (acute respiratory infection) as soon as possible," said one doctor. For his part, Rafael Quispe, a spokesman for the indigenous march, said that there are about 260 children with their parents.
"Many people left the community with all its members, ie grandparents, parents and children. So was the participation of many women and children waiting for families," he said.
He argued that the low temperatures recorded in Urujara caused many colds.
An indigenous baby, KYF, 6 months, died yesterday by an acute respiratory infection he contracted in the ascent from the lowlands to the Andean highlands of La Paz to demand the government of Evo Morales not to build a road through the reserve Tipnis (Territory Indigenous and Isiboro S?cure).
[Influenza? Syncytial virus? Adenovirus?
Question: if the agent is the influenza virus, the children were vaccinated? There is access to antivirals?
Remember that indigenous people in general do (or should do) part of the priority groups to be vaccinated.
