Boston health officials are warning about possible exposure to measles.

The city Public Health Commission said Friday two areas were potentially impacted by a recently confirmed case.

Officials said anyone who visited the Tasty Burger on Boylston Street on July 19 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Logan International Airport's Terminal B on July 20 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. were potentially exposed and could become ill between now and August 10...

Possible measles exposure in Lexington

Earlier today the Town of Lexington, Board of Health and Office of Public Health were notified of a potential measles exposure due to a resident who was infectious.

The resident made brief stops:

on Thursday, August 16, late afternoon, at the Lexington High School Library
on Sunday, August 19 around noon, at the Town Pool
Monday, August 20 around 11:45 AM at Lahey Lexington

Measles is a highly contagious disease that starts off with cold and flu symptoms. If you were at these locations during these dates and specific times and have symptoms, please call your doctor.

Symptoms may develop up until September 9...

BOSTON (WHDH) - The Massachusetts Department of Public Health is warning the public of possible measles exposure at Logan Airport, and in Lexington and Burlington.

Health officials announced Thursday that they had a confirmed case of measles at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center.

Exposures to this individual may have occurred at the following locations and times:

Logan Airport Terminal B on Aug. 15, between 8:30 ? 10:30 a.m.
Lexington High School Library on 251 Waltham St. in Lexington on Aug. 16, between 3:30 p.m. ? 5:30 p.m.
Irving H. Mabee Town Pool Complex on 80 Worthen Road in Lexington on Aug. 19, between 12 p.m. ? 2 p.m.
Lahey Outpatient Center on 16 Hayden Ave. in Lexington on Aug. 20, between 11:30 a.m. ? 3 p.m.
LHMC, Burlington Emergency Department on Aug. 20, between 1 p.m. ? 10:30 p.m.
LHMC, Burlington Inpatient Units 7 Central, 6 Central and 5 Central (ICU and CCU) from 8 p.m. on Aug. 20 to 9 p.m. on Aug. 21...

Pediatric patient recovering; health center urging others to be tested

LOWELL -- The Lowell Community Health Center is warning the public about measles after a pediatric patient was diagnosed with the contagious respiratory infection on Thursday.

The patient, who is recovering at home, was immediately isolated at the health center, according to officials.

However, anyone who was in the health center's main lobby, pediatric waiting room, pharmacy or lab between 12:53 p.m. and 5:22 p.m. on Thursday might have been exposed to measles.

In addition, the health center is seeking to identify anyone who accompanied a patient or who visited the lab or pharmacy between those hours, and is therefore at risk for exposure...

Person infected with measles confirmed to have been at Walmart

TEWKSBURY ? This week state health officials issued a warning after two confirmed measles cases were found in Lowell. These cases not only affected the Lowell area, but also the nearby communities of Chelmsford and Tewks?bury.

The first case was confirmed on Thursday, Nov. 8 at the Lowell Community Health Center, 161 Jackson St. in Lowell. The main lobby, pediatric waiting room, pharmacy and lab were all visited by the infected person.

The second case of meas?les was confirmed on Thurs?day, Nov. 15. The second in?fected person was in a number of local areas during the infectious period. This person was known to be at the Chelms?ford TJMaxx, 288 Chelms?ford St., on Sunday Nov. 11, sometime between 3 - 7 p.m. The same infected person was also in the Tewksbury Walmart, 333 Main St., on Thursday Nov. 15, sometime between 5 and 8 p.m., and then was diagnosed at the Lowell Community Health Center on that same day...
