The resurgence of the polio epidemic is again to fear. Seventeen cases of children with acute flaccid paralysis were discovered in two days.

Vaccination The officers detected 10 September cases of children with acute flaccid paralysis (AFP) and suspected to be polio, the first two days of this seventh vaccination campaign against polio."We try to identify all AFP in children under 15 years, during this campaign, to see if polio continues to plague our island. AFP were reported in the region of Analamanga, namely Antananarivo city, in Ambohidratrimo, and Andramasina. Eight of them have been discovered in the district Beloha other Mahajanga II, Manja and Farafangana. None of them is confirmed to be a polio cases so far."The samples were sent to the Pasteur Institute of Madagascar (IPM) for analysis. In November 2015, we found 90 cases of AFP.
